Discovering the Power of Cayenne ... and Other Hot Peppers

All the media and other attention being given to H1N1 forced most of us to consider how to have some protection. I never considered the vaccine … preferring to ‘rev up’ my immune system …. instead. One of the ways was to begin ingesting more high quality cayenne along with other hot peppers. I purchased a book “Curing With Cayenne” by Sam Biser. Sam spent many years learning from two great herbal healers and teachers … Dr John Christopher … and Dr Richard Schulze. He says “ I created this book because I don’t know of any herb or substance on earth more powerful or more inexpensive that can cure more suffering people”
Dr Schulze told Sam Biser “Although most people think the best cayenne is found in capsules from herb companies … or in bulk jars at health food stores … usually … the best is found right in your local grocery store”. He went on to explain … “Almost every major grocery store in this country sells a variety of fresh hot chili peppers in the produce section. Ask for a variety … such as jalapeno … serrano… habanero … cayenne … or any hot peppers you can buy. What determines the potency is the intensity of its heat … which is determined by the quantity of the potent chemicals in the peppers … capsaicin and its resins. The more of these chemicals that are in the cayenne … the hotter it is and also the stronger and more effective it is in healing”.
I learned how to dry the hot peppers (I used my dehydrator … at low temperature) and grind high quality … potent powder. I am now using this daily.
I am also in the process of creating ‘liquid fire’ … my own hot pepper tincture. For this I am using a variety of peppers … including a whole package of Mexican habaneros … the hottest peppers of them all … 250,000 to,300,000 heat units ! I began this process of making tincture on November 16th … on the new moon … and it will be ready on Dec. 2nd … the full moon. Apparently … to get the biggest healing ‘bang’ … using cayenne powder in water and cayenne as a tincture is the absolute best. It is the ‘only’ way to get 100% of what’s in the plant. This is because some healing chemicals dissolve in water … and others dissolve better in alcohol. Teas and tinctures … used together … give the best results.
Here is a photo of my counter top when I began creating the hot pepper powder …

My home-made cayenne powder is much hotter than the best I could get at the health food store … and much fresher also. Presently … I am acquiring a taste for it … getting ready to add the tincture to my teas … as soon as it is ready. I already notice the effects … such as normal BP readings almost constantly. I was told years ago that I would require BP medication for the rest of my life … so you can understand why perfect BP readings is a small miracle to me !

  1. Thanks Mom, great and I love hot food. I eat chillies almost everyday. I will start making my own. I put cayenne in Feydrahn’s food every night, along with fresh garlic. Have a great day … Love

  3. Thanks again, I was just rereading Dr. John Christopher’s book “Capsicum”. He says to start with 1/2 tsp 3 times a day. I have 4 or 5 types of dried chillies, but I think I will go to the Asian market and get the fiery little Thai ones.
