Christmas Greetings 2009

Here it is … Christmas Eve 2009 … the magic is here … as it always is. Beautiful memories and thoughts of each of you brings me joy. Holy Light bathes and heals us yet again ! I rejoice and give thanks from a grateful heart. I have some photos … my way of sharing my enchanted house of dreams with all of you.
This first photo is my tree … artificial … still can’t decide which is really ‘greener’ … artificial or genuine fir or pine. Comments?

This year I have Father Christmas (two versions) on the tree. Here he is in white.

and in red … reminding me of the kind and faithful Bishop who has evolved into the modern Santa Claus.

Here are a few of the beautiful greeting cards I received. Thank-you for each one.

Some packages … surprises given with love … Amethyste’s and mine … one for Buddy, too. He is happy.

This year … a kind heart filled with the Spirit of Christmas … has given me a stocking. Here it hangs on the fireplace with an empty one for Amethyste (my grand-daughter) awaiting Santa’s visit. I intend to stay up late for a jolly hug !

This is the creche scene … awaiting the birth … the baby Jesus … who bcame the true ‘light-giver’ … and the reason we celebrate.

Finally … the boss around here … who observes it all with charm and exuberance … my rescued pal … Buddy.

I wish each and everyone one of you a Blessed Christmas and in 2010 … health and creativity … in abundance.

  1. Hi Mom!
Looks like a fun place to be for Christmas.. You always make Christmas wonderful!! Love the handmade painted cards, beautiful. I have a fresh tree again, but it just appeared on my doorstep needing a home! : ) I dont know which is greener either, and have wondered. So far I have only had the real thing, but i would switch if I thought it was a lot better to do so.
I hope you have an amazing Christmas.. and Buddy too! Give him a hug for me. Hope he enjoys his gift! xo, Merry Christmas.
    Love you!! R
