About
This site is about me and my pleasures.
I was born in Albert County, New Brunswick, but spent most of my childhood living on a farm by the Bay of Fundy near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. The rugged beauty, the varied moods of fog, tides and cliffs of the Fundy shore still inspires me. My father encouraged me to observe and draw at an early age and I have continued to sketch and paint since then.
I consider myself mainly self-taught, but I have studied with some well known Canadian artists such as Fred Ross, Jack Reid, Linda Kemp, Nicole Foreman and Brian Atyeo as well as international art instructors, Zoltan Szabo, Christopher Schink and Tony van Hasselt.
My paintings can be found in collections across Canada, U.S.A., Britain, The Netherlands, Australia, and are included in several corporate collections including the “Collection of Fine Arts” of the City of Moncton, Atlantic Lottery Corporation and CIBC Wood Gundy.
